Saturday, 10 March 2018- 9 AM – 1 PM.  We host a pancake “breakfast” at Arrowhead Park Early College High School.  It’s a fundraiser for the school.  We provide the food at cost and cook it.  School kids and parents sell tickets.  The school keeps the profit.  

We will be serving pancakes, juice, sausage, and coffee.  You can eat in or carry out.

To attend: Tickets are $5 in advance from school representatives.  They can also be bought at the door.

Thursday, March 15, 2018.  11:30 AM – 12:30 PM.  Another convivial lunch, and imminent events to go over. We meet at Bite of Belgium, 741 N. Alameda, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM.  Prospective members are welcome, as are those simply curious to find out what Kiwanis does.

Pancake breakfast for Mayor’s Top Teens

Saturday, 3 March 2018, 8-11 AM, at the Moose Hall, 514 N. Downtown Mall.  That’s right near the north end of the DT Mall.  The mayor’s committee selects and honors top students each year.  There’s very limited parking on the Mall, but lots in the parking lot to the East, accessed via Church Street (cut across on Las Cruces Ave. to avoid the endless construction on the south end of Church).  Tickets are $5 and are available at the door.

Kiwanis Fish Fry

Friday, 2 March 2018, 4-7 PM.  The Kiwanis Club of Las Cruces holds its annual Lenten Fish Fry at the Good Samaritan Village’s Social Center, 3011 Buena Vida Drive, off Telshor Blvd. The event is in the Creative Arts Room.  For a $10 donation, everyone can get fish, shrimp, coleslaw, french fries, hush puppies, iced tea, lemonade, and coffee.  The high-school students in the Key Club will be selling baked goods for very nominal prices. The room is capacious for good socializing.  Kiwanians are selling tickets and they can also be purchased at the door at any point in the evening.
